How to stay safe on live cams

Use a separate username, keep payments inside the official platform and never share information that can identify your home, job or daily routine. Most problems begin when a conversation moves off-platform too quickly.

Protect your identity before entering a room

Create a username that is not connected to your real name, email handle, gaming profile or social accounts. A reverse search can connect reused usernames in seconds. Use an email address reserved for adult services and a unique password protected by two-factor authentication when available.

Turn off browser location permissions and check what appears in your profile. Your city, workplace, phone number, family details and regular schedule are not useful to a cam session and should stay private.

Keep money on the official platform

Tokens and private sessions should be purchased through the platform's own checkout. Do not send gift cards, cryptocurrency, wire transfers or payment-app transfers to unlock a show. Off-platform payments remove the dispute tools and moderation available in the official room.

Recognize common scam patterns

Pressure is the clearest warning sign. Be cautious if someone claims an emergency, promises an in-person meeting for payment, asks for a verification fee or wants you to install an unknown app. A request to continue on Telegram, WhatsApp or another messenger is not automatically a scam, but it removes the platform's safeguards.

Also watch for lookalike login pages. Check the address bar before entering a password, especially after clicking a link in chat or email.

Set spending and personal boundaries

Choose a spending limit before buying tokens. Live rooms are designed to keep interaction moving, and repeated small tips add up quickly. Treat tokens as entertainment spending, not as a path to a personal relationship or guaranteed attention.

Models set their own boundaries too. Do not record, redistribute or threaten to expose a stream. If a room makes you uncomfortable, leave instead of escalating the interaction.

What to do if something goes wrong

Save transaction references and take screenshots of the relevant platform messages, but do not repost intimate content. Change your password immediately if you entered it on a suspicious page. Contact the platform's support or report function for payment disputes, impersonation, harassment or suspected underage content.

For safer first steps, browse public rooms from the live Colombia grid and read what “free” really means before creating an account.

Frequently asked questions

Should I use my real name in a cam room?

No. A separate username and email reduce the chance of linking adult activity to your public identity.

Is it safe to pay a model directly?

The safer option is to keep tokens, private shows and other payments inside the official platform.

Can I record a private show?

Do not record or redistribute content without explicit permission. Platform rules and local laws may also prohibit it.
